DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Here are the daily announcements for Thursday, October 10.

Sixth grade volleyball players and cross country team members need to have their jerseys turned in to Mrs. Dooley by the end of the day today.

There will be an art club meeting today during lunch and lunch ball in Mrs. Householder’s room.

The Fall Awards Night is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.

There will be a fall dance on October 25 from 6:00-8:00. There will be a $2 entry fee. The theme is “Costume.” Please see Mrs. Newnum with any

Just a reminder to sign up in the office if you plan to ride the fan bus to Riverton Parke tonight with Mrs. Dooley to support the seventh and eighth grade football team in the Banks of the Wabash championship game at 7:00 p.m.

If you “catch some kindness” in the halls or in class please feel free to recognize those individuals by putting their name and good deed in the Kindness Jar in the front office. A drawing will be completed during lunch ball each day.

NCP students who are volunteering at local organizations and groups during the Covered Bridge Festival are invited to share photos of your volunteer work. Please send school appropriate photos to [email protected] and include the student’s name and group or organization.

The seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams will host North Montgomery starting at 5:30. The football team will head to Riverton Parke for the Banks of the Wabash tournament championship game. Kickoff is at 7:00. Good luck, Wolves!

Starting Tuesday through Thursday of next week, students participating in the Talent Show will have their Preview Day in the ELC. Make sure you check your email for your assigned day.  If you don't remember, check the list outside Miss Stewart's room. 

If you have books checked out from the library that you are no longer reading, please get those returned as soon as possible.

Middle school cheerleading workshops will be held on May 15 and May 16 in the TR Elementary gym.  Both workshops will be from 4:00-5:30.  It is mandatory to come to at least one of the workshops, and highly encouraged to come to both.  Tryouts will be held on May 17 from 4:00-5:30. Times will be assigned.

Sports team pictures will be taken next week.  Golf is scheduled for Monday,

April 29 at 4:00 at the golf course.  Baseball will be taken on May 1 at 3:30 at 

the ball diamond and softball will have pictures on May 2 at 3:30 at the softball diamond.

FCA will meet this morning during Advisory in the ELC.

There will be a Student Council meeting during Advisory this morning in room 13.

Science Club will meet today in Ms. Seitz’s room during eighth grade lunch.

The Science Academic team will meet today during sixth grade Pack Time in Mrs. Roach’s room. 

FFA members who plan on attending the Petting Zoo need to turn their permission slip in to Mrs. Earley by Tuesday, April 30.

Choir students need to report to the band room for rehearsal during period 4 today.

There will be no art club Monday morning, April 29.

Winter Dance guest forms are available in the office.  Forms must be submitted to Mr. Schulz for approval no later than Wednesday, January 15.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Seitz.

Next week is homecoming week for Parke Heritage High School.  Join in the Wolf Pack fun and participate in dress up days. Monday is Pajama Day.  Wear your comfy PJs to school!
