DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Here are the daily announcements for Friday, May 17.

Congratulations to this week’s Wolf Award recipients! They are Athena Doan, Colton Schatz, Chloee Lancaster, Kazu Green, Sammi Miller, and Josh Brown. Please see Mrs. Wrightsman at this time.

  • Athena is one of the most caring individuals that I know. As a teacher, it is nice to know that students care about you as much as you care about them. One day this week, I was having a particularly rough day and Athena was super supportive. She has even made me cards to brighten my day. I am so thankful to have a student like her!

  • Colton has become more confident in himself this year and is putting forth a lot of effort. He's worked really hard on a recent project and he's done a great job. He should be very proud of himself!

  • Chloee is such a joy to have in class and is such a positive force in my classroom. She is always doing what she’s supposed to be doing, even when no one is looking. She is so creative and talented, I’m so excited to see what she creates next year!

  • Kazu and Sammi noticed the class left my room a mess and stayed behind to clean it up for me. They had a positive attitude about it and even joked around while doing it.  It was very much appreciated that someone noticed the mess and cleaned it up without any prompting.

  • Josh has shown so much perseverance in math class these nine weeks.  He has worked very hard for his grade and did what it took to make sure he maintained the grade.  He had a goal and stuck to it.  I'm very proud of Josh.

There will be a baseball callout meeting in the library during lunch today for seventh and eighth graders.

If you have any books checked out, please get those turned in ASAP to be inventoried! If you are an eighth grader and do not get your books returned, you will be charged for them. If you need to know what books you have checked out, please see Mrs. Harbison.
