Eighth grade social studies students have been learning about the Civil war. Students recently completed their Civil War projects, demonstrating both creativity and historical understanding. Students selected topics such as important battles, key historical figures, and major themes from the Civil War, then presented their learning through either scrapbooks, documentaries, comic books, newspapers, or research reports.
The projects encouraged students to think critically, conduct research, and creatively share their knowledge of one of the most important periods in American history.
