Elementary students in grades K–5 will complete the paper learning packet sent home and return it to school on the next school day. Middle and high school students will access their lessons and assignments through Canvas, where teachers will post instructions by 9:00 a.m.

Student Expectations:

• Elementary (K–5): Complete the paper packet and return it to school

• Middle and High School: Log in to Canvas and complete assigned work

• All Students: Contact teachers during posted office hours if assistance is needed

K-5 students will be counted as present for the day if they complete their packets and bring them back on the first day of returning to school.

The Synchronous Learning Format

• Designed by Indiana Department of Education to meet the state statute limiting schools to three Traditional Asynchronous eLearning Days and to avoid adding days at the end of the school year.

• Based on that requirement, North Central Parke Schools will be implementing this new format. Teachers will be holding Google Meet sessions with students.
